To purchase Globe Magazine, visit Universal News HERE!

I didn’t expect to see a political cover from the weeklies this week because I couldn’t imagine an editor taking the risk with sooo many Barack Obama covers on the newsstand.

Leave it to Tony Frost at Globe to come up with this gem.

President Bush: ‘I Regret Saying Some Things I Shouldn’t Have Said’

President Bush said in his first post-election interview with CNN:

“I regret saying some things I shouldn’t have said,” Bush told CNN’s Heidi Collins when asked to reflect on his regrets over his two terms as president. “Like ‘dead or alive’ and ‘bring ‘em on.’ My wife reminded me that, hey, as president of the United States, be careful what you say.”

The interview, aboard the USS Intrepid in New York, came after the president addressed a Veterans Day ceremony.

President-Elect Barack Obama to Renew Hunt for Osama bin Laden?!?

Just read this article in the Washington Post and almost fell out of my chair.

According to the paper, “President-elect Barack Obama also intends to renew the U.S. commitment to the hunt for Osama bin Laden, a priority the president-elect believes President Bush has played down after years of failing to apprehend the al-Qaeda leader.”

Did anybody know that we stopped hunting down bin Laden?  Unreal.

Why would the Bush administration ever take its eye of finding bin Laden?

I like the idea of a movie

TIME HORIZON OR TIME FRAME: What’s the difference?

Looks like Barack Obama is winning the “Time frame” debate

There’s been a ton of push back on Barack Obama’s suggested plan to pull out troops within 16 months - and establishing a “time frame.”

The White House agreed last week to work on a “general time horizon” for removing U.S. troops — a significant reversal from President Bush’s long held opposition to discuss any time frames.

My question is what the heck is the difference between a time horizon and time frame?

Sounds like the same thing - right?
