Oprah & Vogue See BIG Newsstand Declines

The official semi-annual magazine circulation report won’t be out until next month, but with the Audit Bureau of Circulations’ new Rapid Report system, this year we’ll get an early look at how top monthly titles sold in the first half, reports Jeff Bercovici at Portfolio.

Oprah and Vogue both saw BIG declines.

I love Mama Mia star Meryl Streep.

I used to live next door to her in the Village (she lived in a much nicer pad) and she was out working on her garden like any other normal person.

Breaking News: Hearst Launches YouTube Channels for Good HouseKeeping, Seventeen & Marie Claire

Hearst Magazines announced today three YouTube Channels for Good Housekeeping, Seventeen and Marie Claire, and will add 12 more in the near future, according to Mediaweek’s Lucia Moses.  The channels will ask users to provide videos and participate in contests.  Ultimately, the publisher hopes to drive traffic to its magazine’s web sites and share ad revenue with YouTube.
