HOW TO SAVE WATER IN THE BATHROOM

Everyone can do there part and every little bit helps!

Here are some helpful tips from National Geographic’s Green Issue:

  • Turn of the water while brushing your teeth
  • Cut showers down to five minutes
  • Keep up with leaky toilets and faucets
  • Collect and reuse your “warm-up” water

Also — did you know that “less than 2 percent of the water we use is water we drink, yet all the water pumped into our homes, whether used for dishes, showers or toilets, is drinkable.”

Do you part - please!!!

TIME MAGAZINE CHANGES ITS BORDER COLOR AND THAT’S HISTORIC?

timegreen.jpg

“This is our third annual special issue on the environment but also a historic first: for this one issue, we’ve exchanged our trademarked Red Border for a green one.  By doing so, we are sending a clear - and colorful - message to our readers about the importance of this subject, not just to Americans but to everyone else in the world,” says Richard Stengel, Managing Editor, Time.

Is changing the color of Time’s border such a big deal?

What do you think?

BTW - I’m wearing shorts today for the first time this year!
