It seems the lesbian relationship on Grey’s was getting a bit uncomfortable for ABC execs.

So much so, that they provided statements for stars like Patrick Dempsey to read on shows like Ellen (watch video)

Only problem is that Dempsey refused to play along and read the script on-air - in fact - he openly mocks the statement.

PR Pros take note. Controllable PR is dead.

This will come as somewhat a surprise to Grey’s Anatomy fans.

Callie (played by Sara Ramirez) and Erica’s burgeoning romance on “Grey’s Anatomy” is coming to an abrupt end, and so is Brooke Smith’s role as Dr. Erica Hahn, reports the Huffington Post.

Smith’s final appearance as Dr. Callie Torres’ flame comes in this Thursday’s episode.

Why?

Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer of Grey’s Anatomy, said,  “Unfortunately, we did not find that the magic and chemistry with Brooke’s character would sustain in the long run.”

Sanra Oh — by far the stand-out on Grey’s Anatomy this season — opens up in the new issue of NUVO about how she almost got plastic surgery to obtain a more “western” look.

“I remember going to the plastic surgeon in Korea and being told that the lower half of my face was like that of a woman, but that the upper half of my face was non-gender specific,” says Sandra.

CoverAwards Can Make A Difference!

When I started CoverAwards, I hoped that I could make a difference in the world of “bad magazine covers.”
