After what seems like an eternity, we have the two finalists for the 2008 American Idol competition.

David’s dad Jeff won’t be interfering anymore with his performances!

After causing problems with production and attempting to change  the lyrics of David’s first song, “Stand By Me,” he has officially been banned from rooms where David is learning or rehearsing songs, reports TMZ. 

Jeff will be allowed to sit in the audience during the live show.
