Weddings are usually a sure-fire hit on the newsstands.

But here’s why I think this one won’t sell.

1) Everyone has already seen the pictures and the President’s reaction to his daughters wedding. This story feels OLD!

2) President Bush is the most unpopular President of all times according to recent reports.

3) No one really knows Jenna’s fiance. I watched the View this week — and they couldn’t even remember his name.

Bottom Line: Bummer for People this week!

Just saying.  Henry Hager does kind of look like George Bush.

The first daughter and Henry Hager tied the knot yesterday on President Bush’s Crawford ranch yesterday. The ceremony took place outside and she had 14 bridesmaids who dressed in seven styles of knee-length dresses in seven colors. Jenna’s dress was Oscar de la Renta.

Jenna Bush got married over the weekend!

We’re mighty blessed,” President Bush said at an airport in Waco, Texas, yesterday before he and First Lady Laura boarded Air Force One to return to Washington. The president called the wedding “spectacular.”
