Mark Pasetsky's Cover Awards

Looks like Life & Style opted to invest in a fifth color this week and is using a super-hot pink, which no doubt will stand out on the newsstand. (There are better ways to spend money - btw.)

In fact, I was temporarily blinded by the cover this morning.

Smart move by the magazine to make Britney Spears a big part of the story (US, Star, and OK should have done the same). She should have been in the middle - since she is the biggest star on the cover.

The other two stars - huh?

Jessica Alba looks totally miserable. Why? Why? Why would they include her in this package.

And Brooke Hogan? Someone at LIfe & Style is crushing on Brooke Hogan. There is no reason why this D-lister has now made the cover of Life & Style AGAIN.

So why won’t this cover work?

How do you continue to score big photo gets like this Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby pic?

First, you have a wealthy owner by the name of Richard Desmond who is believed to lost well over $100 million since its launch,” according to the New York Post.

And, you increase the cover price. This week, it raised it’s cover price to $3.49 from $2.99.

But the news looks promising for OK!  Why?

Jessica Alba!

According to Joe Jonas, “I introduced myself to her at the Teen Choice Awards.  She was like, “What band are you in again?”

“I was like, “The Jonas Brothers.”  And she said, “I’m supposed to get an autograph from you guys.”

It was for her housekeeper’s daughter.  It was one of those awesome moments.  Then, as we were walking away, I yelled, “See you at the wedding!”

Jessica Alba - best known for her rockin body - has made a drastic change in her dietary routine since becoming pregnant.

In the new issue of Allure, Alba admits, “Before this…it was coffee in the morning, yogurt for lunch, and the only meal was dinner. It was because of my schedule; I never had time.”

Now she’s eating three meals a day!

Alba, who has been connected with hotties Mark Wahlberg and Derek Jeter, admits in the new issue of Allure,

“I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they’re having sex.”

Looks like she had some experience before getting hitched with Cash Warren earlier this week.

Well it was kinda planned according to Jessica Alba in the new issue of Allure.

“I can’t say it was a total accident, because you’re aware of when you’re not being careful and when you’re not,” Alba says.  “It just happened so soon!”
