In the May issue of Esquire, Jessica talks about the most romantic thing a guy has ever done and she talks about John Mayer writing a song for her!

“Even though you can tell she’s foreseeing a shit-storm, she recites her favorite lines,” says the mag. 

Um?  Isn’t Jessica dating Tony Romo.  And how sad that Nick never wrote a song for her?

Jessica Simpson - who used to be the celebrity weekly favorite cover girl (along with Nick of course) is ready for a big public comeback!

It’ll be tough competing against her now enganged and possibly pregnant sister Ashlee!  (My money is on Jess!)

“I’ve come to realize that the more I censor myself, the less people relate to me,” says Simpson in the new issue of Esquire.  (She meant to say CARE about her.)

“I went through period in my life where I kept to myself, this last year and a half.  And this is the first time, as I’m making my country album right now, I’ve had to just lay it all out there and go to that place where I’m comfortable saying, ‘here’s my world, come back in.’  I’ve tried to fit in other shoes, and it just doesn’t work out.”
