Denver will be the new Hollywood next week.

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Charlize Theron and Rosario Dawson, according to reports, are among the stars who will invade the Democratic National Convention (kicking off Monday in Denver), where Barack Obama will officially accept his party’s nomination.

He announced, via text and on his Web site Saturday, that Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware will be his running mate.

The selection of the quick-witted Senate veteran with significant foreign policy bona fides capped one of the biggest buildups in recent political history, according to the Daily News.

Obama will appear with Biden on Saturday at a rally in Springfield, Ill, the site where the Democratic nominee launched his campaign in Feb. 2007.
