Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have been photographed together for the first time since their dramatic split earlier this year.
The actress, 39, and her 31-year-old singer/songwriter joined three friends for dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood last Tuesday night.

And in this week’s issue of Us, she not only opens up about how she helped her son Evan recover from autism, but Jim Carrey’s role in the emotional process:
McCarthy tells Us Weekly that Jim Carrey said, “This is a girl that I love with her beautiful little boy, and I’m going to open all possibilities…He didn’t run from the ugly parts of autism - like Evan screaming all day long. He hung in there.”
McCarthy also explains why she calls Carrey the autism whisperer:
“Evan was scared of the water. My way was to throw a kid in the pool and let him scream until he gets used to it. But it wasn’t working.
So at the beach, Jim would put his feet in the water and laugh and pretend he was having the time of his life. He did it for hours, until Evan took those two steps and got his little feet wet. He did this patient, gradual, loving, easing into a difficult situation, using fun to heal.”

Looks like Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer can’t stay away from each other.
The pair met up Friday in Boston to attend a Ray LaMontagne concert, according to reports.
They also spent time in NYC.
Late Tuesday evening, John Mayer performed a “secret” midnight show at NYC’s Mercury Lounge.
In between songs Mayer, who has a blog, was talkative, at one point saying, “I know shit will end up on YouTube, but I gotta work it out somehow. That’s the problem with people today. Everyone sits in dark rooms and sends each other links, but it’s a connectedness without really being connected.”
Cam and Jennifer Aniston’s ex, British model Paul Sculfor, were recently spotted at the Four Seasons in the Maldives. According to one witness, ”They snorkeled, kayaked, and she ate like a horse.”
