Lifetime has given a six-episode order to docu-series Blonde Charity Mafia. It will follow three twenty-something D.C. socialites who are big on the charity circuit.
The sixth season of Project Runway will premier on Lifetime sometime in November of this year, although Bravo parent NBC Universal is fighting to retain possession of the series, according to Mediaweek.
On Monday, NBC Universal filed suit against The Weinstein Co. in New York State Supreme Court to stop the transfer of the ratings driver, saying that it retains the right to first refusal, and should be able to match Lifetime’s offer.
