MTV VMA Michael Jackson Tribute, Madonna Speaks (VIDEO)
Madonna opened up the MTV VMA’s with a tribute to Michael Jackson. Apparently, the two had a lot in common. Both Madonna and Michael were born in 1958 in August in the midwest.
“Michael Jackson was a hero,” she said. “He seemed otherwordly.”
Madonna asked Michael Jackson out to dinner in 1991. They held hands during a movie, but it was a friendship — not a romance.
She was floored when she found out about his death in London this past June.
“We allowed this magnificent creature slip threw the cracks — there will never be anyone like him again. He was a king. Long live the king.”

Michael Jackson’s Burial Date Postponed
Michael Jackson was supposed to be bured on his birthday — August 29th, but TMZ.com is now reporting that date has been pushed back.
Michael Jackson will be buried on August 31st instead, says Papa Jackson.
Michael Jackson’s Burial Date Set
Michael Jackson’s burial date is set for what would have been his 51st birthday.
The King of Pop will be laid to rest at Holly Terrace in the Great Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday, August 29 at 10 AM.
