Michael Jackson Weight Loss Killed Him?
Michael Jackson’s strenuous rehearsal schedule was causing him to lose 5-6 pounds a day, according to his nurse Cherilyn Lee.
“He was concerned about his weight, he was losing so much. When he’s rehearsing he sweats a lot — he would tell me that he have to mop up the stage after songs he sweat so much,” Lee told MSNBC. “He’d get so dehydrated he’d lose 5-6 pounds a day in water,” said Lee.
Even though water weight can be replaced, dehydration to such an extent is dangerous. Otherwise, Lee said Jackson had no underlying health problems when she first met him in January.
“Before any nutritional treatment I do comprehensive lab work. I did a complete blood panel and there were no red flags,” she said. “Because of his diet his blood sugar was a little low, but not to the point it would cause a problem; his vitamin D level was a little low. Folic acid — and that includes an anemia panel — fine. Every organ system was checked out. There were no indicators of heart disease. The C-reactive protein test? Nothing there (The test is a general marker of inflammation throughout the body, and can rule out things like coronary heart disease and cardiovascular disease). His hemoglobin A1c, which would have indicated diabetes, fine. His liver functions, kidney functions, they were all fine. He was healthy.”
Michael Jackson: ‘Almost Certainly’ Homicide
The first whispers of Michael Jackson’s autopsy reports were leaked to TMZ.com, and the site is reporting that Jackson’s death will “almost certainly” be ruled a homicide. Natural, accidental, accidental overdose, and suicide — have been ruled out, the say.
Propofol, a powerful anesthesia, is thought to be the substance that killed him. The Coroner and LAPD say they have “significant evidence” proving this, as well as the fact Dr. Conrad Murray is probably the man who prescribed him.
We should find out for sure next week.
Rebbie Jackson Mom for Jackson Kids?
Rebbie Jackson, Michael’s oldest sister, will most likely end up caring for Michael’s kids. TMZ.com reported today that even if Katherine Jackson is granted custody of Prince, Paris and Blanket, there’s no question that Rebbie will step in as the main care giver. The kids “adore” her.
Will The Jackson Family Sue?
Although a full toxicology report has yet to be released and Dr. Conrad Murray swears he did nothing wrong, Radaronline.com reports today that the Jackson family plans to sue for Michael’s death.
“They (family members) not only want jail time for anyone who contributed to Michael’s death, they also want to make them pay, literally. They are determined to sue, even if there is no arrest,” says a source close to the situation.
Michael Jackson’s Secret Son
We know about Michael Jackson’s children Prince, Paris and Blanket — but what about Omer Bhatti? Omer is a 25-year-old Norwegian rapper who is rumored to be the secret love child after a one-night stand between Michael Jackson and a Norwegian fan back in 1984.
Omer attended the July 7th memorial service and sat in the front row with the Jackson family. The Daily Mail reported that Omer is requesting a DNA test to prove he is the King of Pop’s son.
Alas, another source close to the family says it’s all a “fantasy” and Omer wasn’t in Michael’s life before 1996.
MJ’s Dr. Raided!
The Drug Enforcement Agency raided Dr. Conrad Murray’s Houston offices this afternoon.
Although Murray’s reps have said from the beginning that the doctor isn’t a suspect, a 2-hour manslaughter investigation took place today with members from the DEA, two Robbery-Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department and Houston Police officers.
Michael Jackson’s Second Autopsy Results In
At the Jackson family request, a second autopsy was performed on Michael and eonline.com reports the results are the same as the first — a deadly amount of propofol and a body riddled with needle marks.
However, the silver lining in Jackson’s tragic demise might be that hospitals will take a greater interest in how propofol, a particularly potent anesthetic, is administered. Federal regulators are now talking about adding the drug to their official list of controlled substances.
We won’t learn the extent of Michael’s full autopsy report until the end of next week.
Dr. Conrad Murray Avoids LAPD
Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, is now avoiding the LAPD. Eonline.com reported that Murray has dodged the third investigative interview and is rumored to be hiding out in either Houston or Las Vegas.
Michael Jackson’s Kids’ Dad…
Tito Jackson opened up to The Mirror yesterday and said he believes Michael is the biological father of Paris, Prince and Blanket.
Nevermind that they “look white” he says. It’s all “the eyes.”
“They are all his children. Blanket is Michael’s, I can tell. Those eyes don’t lie. Them eyes are Michael over again. I see a lot of Michael in him…Prince looks just like my grandfather.”
While he has no clue who Blanket’s mother is (”That’s the million dollar question”) he says the kids are well adjusted and not effected by the unusual way in which they lived.
“The kids are very, very normal. They are normal kids, they play with my grandson a lot. They have lots of fun, they squirt the dogs with water guns and they play with toys and play ball with their cousins.”
Michael Jackson’s Empty Coffin
The newest wrinkle in the eery Jackson saga is the rumor his coffin was empty at the memorial service.
An insider told Page Six: “There was no body there at all.”
The argument? There isn’t any way the body would’ve been released yet in light of this criminal investigation.
“There were two autopsies done but now there’s a criminal investigation,” said a source. “Why would they release the body in a week if there’s a criminal investigation? And if they charge someone with his death, that person will want his or her own autopsy done.”
