John McCain’s People Magazine Cover Selling Far Under Palin Covers

With National Enquirer, People MagazineUs Weekly and OK! Magazinecovers, it seems that Sarah Palin is a tabloid superstar.  McCain, on the other hand isn’t fairing so well, at least in newsstand sales.

According to a source, the McCain family issue of People has not sold as well as the Palin cover and is even selling below the magazine’s weekly average, reports MSNBC.

The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that Sarah’s oldest son, Track, was addicted to the power drug OxyContin for nearly the past two years, snorting it, eating it, smoking it and even injecting it.

The National Enquirer is not resting on its John Edwards’ laurels.

It is going full force after the Sarah Palin’s story - and continues full cover coverage for the second week in a row.

And, its another prediction that I hit out of the park this week!  (Sorry for the gratuitous pat on my own back.)  I do have admit that the line “What She’s Hiding” used by the National Enquirer is better than the one I suggested, which was “The Truth About Sarah Palin.”

Let’s hope that the national media catches on to the National Enquirer’s findings before it’s too late and we find Sarah Palin one heartbeat away from the presidency.

McCain Campaign Threatens Legal Action Against National Enquirer: National Enquirer Responds

John McCain’s campaign threatened legal action against the National Enquirer today for running this story about McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin, allegedly having an affair with her husband’s business partner.

“The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Gov. Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie,” said McCain senior adviser Steve Schmidt.   “The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it.”
