“When I had Ryder, suddenly there were a lot of rules.  I don’t stand for it if people say, “Hi, Ryder” and he ignores them and turns away.

I always make him say hello properly.  I’m much stricter about things like manners than I thought I’d be.  My mom [Goldie Hawn] wasn’t strict with me at all.”
