CoverAwards’ Exclusive: Best Life’s Stephen Perrine on “Making Fun of Olbermann’s Eyebrows” Election Night
How is Best Life’s Editor in Chief Stephen Perrine spending Election Day 2008?
“In my fantasy, I am watching the election returns at home with my two teenage daughters, and having an intensely educational conversation about the democratic process,” Perrine tells CoverAwards exclusively.
“In reality, they will probably just be making fun of Olbermann’s eyebrows and asking why we can’t watch the SciFi channel. So for political sustenance, I am having lunch that afternoon at the Four Seasons; it will be interesting trying to pick up on which way the winds of power are blowing,” adds Perrine.

Election Day Special
CoverAwards spoke exclusively to More Magazine’s Editor and Chief Lesley Jane Seymour and she filled us in on her readers’ reaction to Election 2008:
“I think for the readers, like for me, this election is going to be all about the economy,” says Seymour. “We did a poll a few months ago to suss out what readers considered the number one issue, and then one again that’s up right now, and the economy has gone up in importance—not surprisingly.”
So how is Seymour spending her election night?
“I’m going to be teaching my class at NYU! Then going home to Westchester on the train and spending all night listening to the news. I’m a news junkie,” adds Seymour.
