John McCain’s Most Recent Attacks Against Obama
The AP devotes an article today on the lies being told within the McCain campaign.
These include:
-McCain keeps saying his running mate, Sarah Palin, killed the federally funded Bridge to Nowhere when, when she she only pulled her support only after the project became a political embarrassment.
John McCain’s presidential campaign has been hitting Obama hard lately. Here are just a few of the most recent attacks:
-Accusations of sexism over Obama’s ”lipstick on a pig” comment.
-Comparison of Obama’s campaign to a pack of wolves on the prowl against the GOP vice presidential pick
-McCain camp claimed the Democratic nominee favored sex education for kindergartners, and resurrected the comments of the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.
Obama commented on LipstickGate ‘08 with humor last night on Letterman. “If I meant it that way, she [Palin] would have been the lipstick.”

She’s using the same speech day after day.

Palin is still reading from a script!
I’ve basically remembered every line she has said.
“I want to address the latest made-up controversy by the John McCain campaign,” Barack Obama said today.
“What their campaign has done this morning is the same game that has made people sick and tired of politics in this country.
They seize on an innocent remark, throw out an outrageous ad because they know it is catnip for the media. It would be funny except for the news media decided that was the lead story yesterday.
The McCain campaign would much rather have a story about phony and foolish diversion than about the future.”
This is turning out to be the strangest campaign in history.
Obama used this phrase that he has used before and now the McCain campaign (to its credit) is jumping all over it.
Why?
Because one of her most memorable lines during her vice-presidential acceptance speech at the GOP convention last week was the ad lib: “What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick.”
And the Republicans are connecting Obama’s pig statement to Palin.
And the result is…
