Sad news for Isiah Thomas.

Police rushed to the former basketball great and former New York Knicks’ head coach’s home in upstate New York Friday morning after he overdosed on sleeping pills, reports Usmagazine.com.

“An ambulance was called to his residence around midnight, and a party was transported to White Plains Hospital,” the police spokesman told Us. “It was a party from his residence. It was ruled an overdose.”

It’s official.

The investigation into Heath Ledger’s death is closed.

Mary-Kate Olsen, who had been under heavy press scrutiny in recent days, will not have to testify.

The probe was closed without any charges being filed.

Olsen had been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury on April 23, but her attorney had been in negotiations with federal authorities since then, a source tells People.

The drama continues for Mary-Kate Olsen.

The New York Post is claiming that she had “nothing whatsoever to do” with the Dark Knight star Heath Ledger’s death in a SoHo apartment.

This followed reports that Mary-Kate Olsen was requesting immunity before cooperating with authorities.

Michael C. Miller, Mary-Kate Olsen’s lawyer, said she has already provided investigators with “relevant information.”
