Pasetsky’s Celebrity Weekly Prediction #2

Last week Star Magazine went with the line “It’s Twin Girls!”. 

I suggested that the magazine was trying to trick readers into believing that Angie already had the kids.

Well, guess what? 

Angie’s still pregnant.

This week I predict one of the weeklies will go for an Angie baby cover focused on the details of her birth and how happy she is (using a joyful looking pic of Angie but hopefully a better picture than the one I have here.)

Doesn’t Angie always look soooo happy when she’s pregnant?

Unfortunately for many of the celebrity weeklies, their deadline has passed.

But, today’s item on John Mayer in the New York Post would lead to a great follow-up cover in the Jen Aniston/John Mayer relationship storyline.

According to Page Six, “Mayer was out at 10ak Friday night with Adam Levine, and Mayer was all over some blond girl.” 

Mayer later asked the DJ to play some R. Kelly songs so ‘we can dance with our girls.’”

Possible headlines: Poor Jen!  or Jen’s Heartbreak! 

I guess John isn’t ready to settle down just yet.  But did anyone really think he was ready?

P.S. I have a hunch People magazine is doing a Tom Cruise cover story.  It’s just a hunch.

Some folks in the media have suggested this as a possibility.

In the end, this will probably be the largest selling issue of Vanity Fair in a very long-time.

And now Miley is reaching beyond the teen audience.

Works for both parties.

Even more telling is the cover line “Miley Cyrus Takes Off.” 

Yes she takes off her clothes - but with all this publicity - her career may be heading to an entire new stratosphere.

Well, this would be a perfect weigh-loss cover for one of the celebrity weeklies.

Look for her diet and exercise plan this Wednesday!

Possible Lines:

• How Halle Berry Got Slim So Fast!
• How Halle Berry Lost x lbs in x days (most likely 30-40 lbs in a month)

With reports surfacing this weekend that Jen Aniston was seen on an apparent date with John Mayer, this incident will bring Jen back to the cover of one of the celebrity weeklies.

Possible lines include:

• It’s On: Jen & John’s Secret dates and other juicy details
• It’s Love: How Jen fell for John or vice versa.  (Don’t put it past one of the weeklies to take it this far!)
• Jen’s Revenge: How Jen finally got over Brad!

OK, You Get the Point!

Well, this week we have the most obvious topic for the celebrity weeklies.

The big question is how will they spin it so that the story feels new on Wednesday and stays relevant for a week on the newsstands.
