Patrick Swayze was People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in 1991.
With hair that would make Bon Jovi jealous, Patrick’s cover read: ‘Whether surfer, ghost or dirty dancer PATRICK SWAYZE thrills as Hollywood’s hunk with a heart.”
As People magazine reported today, Patrick valiantly fought his way through cancer — even refusing to issue statements about his health saying they would “cast negative shadow on the positive and good fight I’m fighting.”
He was working on his memoir and filming his A&E series ‘The Beast’ at the time of his death.

Patrick Swayze Dead
Patrick Swayze died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer today. He was 57.
TMZ.com reports that he died surrounded by his family.

Patrick Swazye Home to Die Reports National Enquirer
A sad picture of Patrick Swazye in a wheelchair covers this week’s issue of The National Enquirer – with the tab claiming he’s gone home to die.
The tab also features a new pic of Star Jones who appears to be rapidly gaining the weight she lost from her gastric bypass surgery — as well as a recent photo of Jaycee Dugard.
Meanwhile, Jodie Foster’s new girlfriend is cheating on her. I hope this isn’t how Jodie finds out the news!

Patrick Swayze Heart Attack! POLL
It’s not a good week to be on the cover of The National Enquirer – cause if you are – things are not going that well for you yesterday, today or tomorrow.
Take Patrick Swazye as the biggest example. The Dirty Dancing star, who is battling courageously against cancer, now reportedly suffered from a heart attack.
Next up is Ted Kennedy who is paralyzed and shown in his “final days in a wheelchair.”
It doesn’t get any better for Shelley Duval who “thinks aliens are living in her body.”
Plus, Britney’s kids are being targeted in a kidnap plot and Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend was apparently a drug dealer. That’s of course before she committed to working with Jon on his new clothing line!

Patrick Swayze and wife Lisa Niemi spent some quality time together a few weeks ago at his Las Vegas, NM ranch.
While still battling pancreatic cancer, Swayze recieved word that his A&E show The Beast was cancelled. The Beast only lasted one season.
