After a night of intense negotiations, Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook reached a settlement Thursday morning at 6:15 a.m.. Deal are expected to be revealed in court later in the day, reports People.

“[Peter Cook's] selfishness, narcissism and childishness have caused great harm to his children…He needs constant reassurance that he is a terrific guy, handsome, accomplished, etc.,” said psychiatrist Stephen Herman.
“She [Christie Brinkley needs to start working on therapy issues related to her parenting, maybe her choice in male figures with whom to get involved, certain motivations she has herself that can get her into trouble,” said Herman.

There’s a lot more than two kids at stake in the divorce war between Christie Brinkley and her husband Peter Cook, reports the New York Post.
The couple - which starts its custody battle over their children in court today - owns properties that real-estate brokers say are worth between $60 million and $80 million. That’s on top of their three yachts and millions of dollars’ worth of other investments.
This battle will get even nastier today as Christie Brinkley takes the stand.

Christie Brinkley used one word, according to the New York Post, in her sob-wracked testimony today to describe her life after her husband’s philandering and porn obsession was exposed:
“Nightmare.”
“My world was completely shattered,” Brinkley, 54, told the court as she described how she learned that her seemingly perfect hubby Peter Cook was carrying on an affair with a woman thirty years his junior.
“Beyond humiliating, it was beyond your wildest nightmare,” she said.
