CINDY MCCAIN’S FAMILY: I Would Rather Not Vote Than Vote For John McCain

Political ideas don’t always run in the family. Cindy McCain’s half sister, Kathleen Hensley Portalski, is planning on voting for Barack Obama, she tells Usmagazine.com.

“I’m not voting for McCain. I have a different political standpoint. I’m voting for Obama,” she says. “I think his proposals to improve the country are more positive and I’m not a big war believer.”

Did Hillary Clinton Get Plastic Surgery?

First Drudge posted that infamous photo of Hillary’s wrinkled face and then she went through intense media scutiny about her appearance during the primaries.  Could all of that negative attention have pushed Hill to get a little work done?

Are George Clooney & Obama Email and Text Buddies?

Not so much, says George.  The star is denying an LA Times report that he and the Senator engage in frequent communication.

“I have never texted or e-mailed Senator Obama. And I’ll offer a million dollars to anyone who could prove otherwise,” George has announced in a statement. “I’ve spent more time with Senator McCain (he did my TV show) then I have with Senator Obama. Barack Obama Predicted the Future?

When Barack spoke back on June 20th, he said the campaign would get nasty.

With the recent Britney Spears/Paris Hilton ad, I don’t think he could have imagined how low McCain could go.

But here’s what Barack said on June 20th:

Paris Hilton’s Chilly Reaction to John McCain Ad

“Miss Hilton was neither asked, nor did she give permission, for the use of her likeness in the ad, and has no further comment,” her rep said in a statement to People.

In the campaign ad from the Republican presidential hopeful, images of Britneypears, Hilton and Democratic challenger Barack Obama appear on the screen as a voiceover says, “He’s the biggest celebrity in the world. But is he ready to lead?”

Good question.

BARACK OBAMA: I’m Not Britney Spears or Paris Hilton

Are the Republicans Serious?

In an ad released by the McCain campaign, images of Spears, Hilton and Obama appear on the screen as a voiceover says, “He’s the biggest celebrity in the world. But is he ready to lead?”

“On a day when major news organizations across the country are taking Sen. McCain to task for a steady stream of false, negative attacks, his campaign has launched yet another,” says Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor. “Or, as some might say, ‘Oops! He did it again.’”

Counter’s McCain campaign strategist Steve Schmidt: “It’s beyond dispute that [Obama] has become the biggest celebrity in the world. But do the American people really want to elect the biggest celebrity in the world?”

What did Paris Hilton have to say about this matter?
