Everyone’s favorite transgendered mom/dad, Thomas Beatie, appeared on Good Morning America yesterday and pictures of the new baby are featured in this week’s issue of People. The couple was reportedly paid $300,000 for the pics.
Last week, the National Enquirer received a lot of flack for its Cher marriage cover especially after Cher’s rep denied she was getting married.
I wonder what the reaction - if any - there will be to this week’s cover featuring Oprah Winfrey allegedly “betraying Stedman [Graham].”

Thomas Beatie, the 34-year-old transgender man who came out as pregnant in the The Advocate, gave birth on Thurdsay to a health girl, reports ABC News.
What does she look like?
I just picked up my latest issue of Larry Hackett’s People magazine from the newsstand and I have to admit that I didn’t recognize Heath Ledger!

Even if I did recognize him, I do not believe this is a strong cover. It would only capture my attention if People knew for sure he had a child and had actual evidence on the cover.
Looking at the roof-line, People missed a big opportunity! They should have made the pregnant man the main cover. After his appearance on Oprah, it’s one of the biggest topics out there!
Bottom Line: Not loving this cover of People!
