President Bush: ‘I Regret Saying Some Things I Shouldn’t Have Said’

President Bush said in his first post-election interview with CNN:

“I regret saying some things I shouldn’t have said,” Bush told CNN’s Heidi Collins when asked to reflect on his regrets over his two terms as president. “Like ‘dead or alive’ and ‘bring ‘em on.’ My wife reminded me that, hey, as president of the United States, be careful what you say.”

The interview, aboard the USS Intrepid in New York, came after the president addressed a Veterans Day ceremony.

DID YOU HEAR? George and Laura Bush SPLIT!

Do you care?

That’s the big question Globe faces this week.

While we’ve seen that Globe consistently features stories for the senior citizen set, I’m not so sure this one  will fly off newsstands this week.

President Bush’s approval ratings are at an all-time low and I’m not sure many would want to be seen with a cover of George Bush in their shopping cart.  (I admit I’m bias on this one and can’t stand Bush.  There, I said it.)

Continuing to appeal to senior citizens, and possibly introduce Elvis to new fans, is a promising photo spread of the King when he was only 21.

VIDEO: PRESIDENT BUSH: WALL STREET GOT DRUNK

And you know what they say about drinking and “trying to do all those fancy financial instruments.”

Nice how he asks for the cameras to be turned off.

TIME HORIZON OR TIME FRAME: What’s the difference?

Looks like Barack Obama is winning the “Time frame” debate

There’s been a ton of push back on Barack Obama’s suggested plan to pull out troops within 16 months - and establishing a “time frame.”

The White House agreed last week to work on a “general time horizon” for removing U.S. troops — a significant reversal from President Bush’s long held opposition to discuss any time frames.

My question is what the heck is the difference between a time horizon and time frame?

Sounds like the same thing - right?

Thoughts?

President Bush’s Wild Ride on Radar

radarfeb08coverlr.jpg

If you’re an alarmist, this probably is not the issue for you!   Radar continues to have a blast making their covers — and this one is no exception!   President Bush riding a missile waving his cowboy hat is a priceless image!   Plus, the cover lines are diverse topic wise and definitely grabbed my attention, especially “The Agonies of Oprah” and “Faking it on Facebook.”  (Editor’s note:  My pictures on Facebook are completely real except the one with my sixpack abs!)
