Flashback: Sarah Palin Ad From Her Governor’s Race in Alaska

Sarah Palin’s RNC Acceptance Speech

Read Sarah Palin’s Republican Convention speech!

Mr. Chairman, delegates, and fellow citizens: I am honored to be considered for the nomination for Vice President of the United States…

I accept the call to help our nominee for president to serve and defend America.

I accept the challenge of a tough fight in this election… against confident opponents … at a crucial hour for our country.

And I accept the privilege of serving with a man who has come through much harder missions … and met far graver challenges … and knows how tough fights are won - the next president of the United States, John S. McCain.

It was just a year ago when all the experts in Washington counted out our nominee because he refused to hedge his commitment to the security of the country he loves.

LIVE: Hillary Clinton’s Big Speech

Can Hillary Convince Me (And Her Supporters) That I Should Vote for Barack Obama?

11:08: What a performance by Hillary!

11:07 pm: I’m convinced. Go Barack Obama!

11:04 pm: In America you always keep going! We have to get going by electing Barack Obama the next President of the United States.

11:02 pm: Hillary shows respect for McCain but says we can’t afford four more years of last eight years. John McCain and George Bush will be in the Twin Cities - and jokes that the two of them are hard to tell apart. Another great line.

11:01 pm: Hillary speaking about Michelle. Hillary says she’ll be a great first lady. And Americans will be better with Joe Biden with Barack by his side.

10:59 pm: Hillary talking about Barack and how he started. He’ll revitalize our economy and meet the challenges. Hillary says we did it before with Clinton and the Democrats. Bill looking upset and happy.

10:58 pm: Ok - I’m getting to Barack’s team 100 percent. Almost.

10:56 pm: Hillary makes transition from why she ran for President to why she supports Barack Obama. Smooth move.

10:48 pm: Sisterhood of the traveling pant suits - very funny!

10:47 pm: No way, No How, NO MCCAIN! Line of the Convention!

10:45 pm: Hillary makes first announcement that she’s proud to support Barack. I kinda believe her. This is her best speaking appearance I’ve seen and it’s only been a couple of minutes.

10:44 pm: Wow! Bill is really upset. This is getting really MOVING! I’m getting really upset myself.

10:43 pm: This has to be so hard for Hillary Clinton.

10:42 pm: Okay, I admit it. I’m thinking that this should have been her night (as the nominee). Bill’s crying!

10:41 pm: Wow Chelsea looks amazing!

10:40 pm: Watching Hillary video. I feel bad for her, but it is inspiring.
