At the birthday of “Vanity Fair’s Amy Fine Collins, the guardian of the International Best Dressed List, social lioness Deeda Blair was sporting an Obama button on the hip of her Chanel couture suit.”
There you have it. Case closed.
HILLARY CLINTON SAYS SHE SHOULD WIN THE NOMINATION…
Momentum is building for Hillary Clinton and she believes she should be the Democratic candidate for President now more than ever before.
Clinton called her base of support “broader and deeper” than Obama’s, and said,
“At the end of the day, that’s what it should be about for Democrats. You know, it is who can better win.
And I’ve won the big states.
I’ve won the states that we have to anchor.
If we had the Republican rules, I would already be the nominee.”
NY POST CALLS REV. WRIGHT “BARACK STABBER”
The New York Post provides inside details from sources revealing why Rev. Wright said what he said. Here are some of the excerpts:
- “Jeremiah is trying to defend his congregation and the work of his ministry by saying what he is saying now,” the source added.
- “Jeremiah doesn’t care if he derails Obama’s candidacy or not . . . He knows what he’s doing. Obviously, he’s not a dumb man. He knows he’s not helping.”
- “Rev. Wright, as well as other senior members of his church, believe that Obama has betrayed over 20 years of their supposed friendship.”
BARACK OBAMA DIVORCES FROM REV. WRIGHT
The New York Times features Barack Obama on its cover today where he’s shown separating himself from his ex-pastor’s comments.
“His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate, and I believe that they do not portray accurately the perspective of the black church,” Mr. Obama said, his voice welling with anger. “They certainly don’t portray accurately my values and beliefs.”
BARACK OBAMA DENOUNCES REV. WRIGHT; BUT IS IT TOO LATE?
“I’m outraged by the comments that were made and saddened over the spectacle that we say yesterday, ” Mr. Obama said, speaking to reporters today in North Carolina according to the New York Times. He added, “I find these comments appalling. It contradicts everything that I’m about and who I am.”
“They offend me, they rightly offend all Americans and they should be denounced,” he said. “That’s what I am doing very clearly and unequivocally here today.”
BARACK’S REAL PROBLEM?
Arugula vs Beer.
Can it be that simple?
Not anymore - especially after this current Rev. Wight debacle.
The gap just got a bit wider. Don’t you think?
IS REV. JEREMIAH WRIGHT TRYING TO DESTROY BARACK OBAMA?
In case you missed it, here are some of the quotes from Rev. Wrights appearance yesterday:
NY POST SAYS IT’S A “PASTOR DISASTER”
The review are in!
Rev. Wright’s recent commentary have placed Barack Obama’s campaign in a disastrous position.
Can Barack Obama distance himself from Rev. Wright at this point?
Obama did say yesterday, “He [Wright] does not speak for me. He does not speak for the campaign, and so he may make statements in the future that don’t reflect my values or concerns.”
Is this a strong enough statement from Barack Obama?
