TIME MAGAZINE: Pulls off Olympic Stunt with LeBron James & Dana Torres

Cover 1: LeBron James

Cover 2: Dana Torres

Richard Stengel, Time’s Managing Editor, appeared on my favorite morning news show MORNING JOE on MSNBC, and said something like he simply couldn’t decide who to put on the cover of this special Olympic preview issue of Time Magazine.

TIME MAGAZINE CHANGES ITS BORDER COLOR AND THAT’S HISTORIC?

timegreen.jpg

“This is our third annual special issue on the environment but also a historic first: for this one issue, we’ve exchanged our trademarked Red Border for a green one.  By doing so, we are sending a clear - and colorful - message to our readers about the importance of this subject, not just to Americans but to everyone else in the world,” says Richard Stengel, Managing Editor, Time.

This week Richard Stengel’s Time Magazine focuses on the violent protests in China and offer “unparralled insight into the life and mind of Tibet’s holiest leader, the Dalai Lama.”

The big question is what happens after the Dalai Lama is gone?  Sadly, in his lifetime he has not made much progress witht the Chinese governement.  Unrest continues and is becoming an even bigger issue as China gets ready to host the Summer Olympics.

The story is fascinating and indepth!
