Sarah Palin Divorcing?
The Internets were abuzz this weekend about the impending divorce between Sarah Palin and husband Todd Palin. Whispers about them attending events without their wedding rings, affairs, and a Sarah Palin move to Montana were all broached.
Could this be the end of an era? Camelot 2.o?
Not so fast.
“No truth to any of the rumors,” wrote the rep in an e-mail to PEOPLE. “No divorce. No affairs. No land in Montana. Nothing! All lies and fabrications!”

Once Sarah Paline entered the national spotlight as John McCain’s VP candidate, she says everything changed: “The choice I had to make was, how am I going to react to the circumstances, to the changed conditions? In a truly shocking July 4th holiday weekend development, Gov. Sarah Palin will resign her office in a few weeks, she said during a news conference at her Wasilla home Friday morning.
Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will be inaugurated at the Governor’s Picnic at Pioneer Park in Fairbanks on Saturday, July 25, Palin said.
There was no immediate word as to why she will resign.
Why now?
As I mentioned earlier, this announcement’s timing is beyond bizarre. Palin is making her resignation the day before July 4th, when much of the nation’s media is on vacation or covering the Michael Jackson story.
In addition, Palin provided no clear explanation as to why she is resigning – except that she is making sure that there is a smooth transition?!?
Many questions will and should be asked to Gov. Palin to find out why she made this decision.
