Scarlett Johansson tied the knot to actor Ryan Reynolds this weekend — and this wedding WILL make it to the full cover of one of the celebrity weeklies this week.

Attended by only a handful of close friends and family, the ceremony was held at a remote wilderness retreat outside of Vancouver, B.C., reports People.

Now that she’s proved herself as an actress and as singer, Scarlett Johannson ready to take on directing, according to Nylon Magazine.

She has just wrapped her first short film (which she also wrote) - New York, I Love You, the Big Apple counterpart to 2007’s Paris, Je T’aime. Although she won’t divulge any plot details, her segment, which stars Kevin Bacon (”He was my dream lead for it: He’s such a delicate, understated, fine actor”) was filmed in Coney Island, and she’s overjoyed with the result.

“It was so cool,” she says. “It was interesting to see, ‘OK, I can do this.”

“And I don’t ever want to feel shut in by expectations or responsibility to an image. I just want to do what interests me, and what makes me happy.”

“…I really just want to continue to make movies that I’d pay to see.

I don’t really think about what the right career move is,” says Scarlett Johannsson.
