Good news Mets fans.

Shea Stadium is getting dismantled starting today.

And, it’s about time.

It will give the team a fresh start next year.  Good riddens!

But - thanks for the memories - 1969 and 1986 plus some other memorable playoff runs.

For the second season in a row, the Mets chocked in September.

What made yesterday’s loss even more difficult was the fact that it was closing day for Shea Stadium.

Not a memorable one AT ALL!
