Shia will not face DUI charges for his car accident in July, the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.
“After reviewing the case, we’ve declined to file any charges due to insufficient evidence,” says DA spokeswoman Jane Robison.
A follow up to Paris, Je T’aime, it includes 12 shorts by different directors (including Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson) and has a ton of stars including: Shia LaBeouf, Blake Lively, Cloris Leachman, Orlando Bloom, Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Ethan Hawke and Kevin Bacon.
The film premieres in Toronto next month, and it should be in theaters by February.
Shia LaBeouf was due to return to the set of the Transformers sequel on Thursday, according to reports, less than three weeks after he shattered his left wrist in a car crash.
The 22-year-old, who was out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday, underwent extensive hand surgery following the wreck and is still wearing a brace on his wrist.

This news comes only three weeks after Isabel was in that car crash with Shia LaBeouf.
“Adrian saw her with Shia and that was kind of it – the crash, their hanging out. He obviously didn’t appreciate it,” reports People.
Can you blame him?
“We’re both fine and Shia’s fine as well,” said Isabel Lucas, LaBeouf’s co-star in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, to Access Hollywood.
On July 27, LaBeouf and Lucas were involved in an accident that had the both of them taken to a local hospital.
Reports stating that Shia LaBeouf may have to amputate one of his injured fingers, has been denied by his publicist.
While the actor has had some hand surgery, digit amputation is not on the agenda, according to his publicist, Melissa Kates. “Totally untrue,” she said in an email to The Dish Rag.
Shia LaBeouf’s left hand was “crushed” in a weekend traffic accident and runs the risk of infection, reports People.
“The force of (the) impact immediately flipped Shia’s vehicle over, and, as a result, Shia’s left hand was crushed,” said his attorney Michael Norris in a statement.
Transformers’ Director Michael Bay is also going to bat for his film’s star, Shia LaBeouf, insisting to that the actor wasn’t drunk. This is despite the fact that people saw Shia drinking and police stated that the he showed outward signs of intoxication.
“I go on dates and have crushes and stuff,” Selana Gomez says. “Right now, my crush is Shia LaBeouf. He is cute and a great actor,” reports OK Magazine.

A witness has come forward in the Shia Labeouf accident and says:
“Shia was tending to the other people in the car, signing over information, like insurance and stuff and basically, I overheard the guy tell him, ‘You should just get out of here and go,’ and Shia said, ‘Nah man. I gotta deal with this. My license plate, it’s my car. I don’t wanna go, I gotta deal with this.’”
At least he did the right thing, after doing the wrong thing.
