Life & Style vs. Star: IT’S WAR!

This is truely an editor’s worst nightmare.

You work an entire week on your cover and wake-up to discover that one of your competitors has virtually the same cover.

Plus, the topic isn’t strong to begin with!

Both Life & Style and Star Magazine feature Hollywood kids.

So, who did it better?

LIFE & STYLE SAYS SHILOH’S LONELY

Pasetsky’s Cover Critique

Talk about big gets!

Life & Style has an exclusive with Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and this looks TOTALLY riveting.

According to the mag’s cover, Shiloh feels so left out and is LONELY.

Doesn’t this just want to make you cry?

OK MAGAZINE BELIEVES SHILOH & SURI ARE DYNAMIC DUO AND WILL EQUAL NEWSSTAND SUCCESS!

They are WRONG!

ok1.jpg

Before I begin to say one word about this cover I’d like to make a plea to the entire celebrity weekly category.

Please stop using celebrity’s children as the MAIN cover photos of your magazines! This is one trend that has to STOP!

Now, let’s discuss Sarah Iven’s OK Magazine featuring none other than Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Suri Cruise.

This can go down as one of the MOST RIDICULOUS covers I have seen in celebrity weekly history!

Showing these two tots stand side-by-side is laughable! (I hope when Suri and Shiloh get older and see this cover they don’t have weight issues because of the line “BIG GIRLS NOW” LOL!)

The dek “As they’re about to turn two, the tots get ready to be big sisters.” Will anyone care? NO!

I won’t even talk about the sidebar because none of the stories stand-out!

Bottom Line: This could be a catastrophic sale for OK Magazine this week! It WILL be the magazine’s lowest sale of the year!
