TIME MAGAZINE: Pulls off Olympic Stunt with LeBron James & Dana Torres

Richard Stengel, Time’s Managing Editor, appeared on my favorite morning news show MORNING JOE on MSNBC, and said something like he simply couldn’t decide who to put on the cover of this special Olympic preview issue of Time Magazine.

Both stories were equally compelling. Dana Torres, the 41-year old swimmer and can LeBron James lead the men’s Olympic basketball team back to glory? (BTW-Time’s cover of Lebron James is not controversial at all compared to his appearance on Vogue with Giselle.)

Who is celebrating Tiger Wood’s historic U.S. Open victory?

The team over at Golf.com. According to Mediaweek, the site attracted 1.1 million unique visitors on Monday.

Throughout the five-day event, Golf.com attracted more than 2.2. million uniques, said SI officials.

With all the talk about NYMag.com crashing because of the Lindsay Lohan nude pics, SI.com is having its own traffic surge.
