The three major networks, ABC, NBC and CBS, joined forces tonight and simulcasted a live one-hour fundraiser called Stand Up To Cancer.

Katie Couric, Brian Williams and Charlie Gibson co-hosted and participants included Christina Applegate, Jennifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst, Fran Drescher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Masi Oka, America Ferrera, Lance Armstrong, Meryl Streep, Forest Whitaker, Charlize Theron and Hilary Swank.

A 44-pound feline was found waddling around Saturday without a collar in Voorhees, and officials at the Camden County Animal Shelter hope she gets a nice — hopefully, diet-friendly — home.

“She’s built like a quarterback,” said Deborah Wright, a shelter volunteer and current foster owner of the kitty. “I mean, how do you lose a 44-pound cat?!”

Some one help this poor cat!
