Working with (John Travolta) was amazing.  He was an idol of mine when I was growing up.  I had the CD of Grease soundtrack back then and used to listen to it all the time.  That’s why I was so star-struck when I met him.  I got him to teach me all the dance steps from Grease, so next time I watch it, I’ll be able to dance along with him [laughs].  (Teen Now)

UK’s Teen Now points out that Zac Efron is drinking green tea during the interview and asks if he has always been a healthy person?

Efron says, “I like to try to eat healthily, but that’s not always possible with work schedules.

When I was 11, I used to eat candy all the time, but one day, I just snapped and said to myself: ‘I can’t eat junk like this any more,’ and I never looked back.

I go to the gym when I can, but mostly I stay active.”

If he wasn’t dating Vanessa Hudgens, here’s what Zac Efron looks for in a girl:

“I think a girl should be really easy to talk to.  I always say this, but it’s great at the end of the night when you can look at your watch and say: ‘Oh my God!  It’s really late!  I gotta leave!’  And you realize that you’ve been talking for several hours.  That’s really fun.”
