TIME HORIZON OR TIME FRAME: What’s the difference?

Looks like Barack Obama is winning the “Time frame” debate

There’s been a ton of push back on Barack Obama’s suggested plan to pull out troops within 16 months - and establishing a “time frame.”

The White House agreed last week to work on a “general time horizon” for removing U.S. troops — a significant reversal from President Bush’s long held opposition to discuss any time frames.

My question is what the heck is the difference between a time horizon and time frame?

Sounds like the same thing - right?

TIME WINS CUTE AND SCARY COVER OF THE DAY

WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE NEWSWEEKLIES?

IT’S PAINFULLY OBVIOUS!

While Time Magazine mentions the “next president” on its cover, that’s the closest thing we get to seeing the candidates on one of the major national news weeklies.

If there was any time to feature the candidates week after week - this is the time.

This continues to be a hot story and the editors should not be scared to do the campaign week after week. 

And the American public can not get enough of this year’s election - especially on the Democratic side - which should translate into stronger newsstand sales.

TIME INC. DIGITAL REVENUES UP $20 MILLION

Time Inc. publishers, presidents, editors, and PR directors along with members of the press—gathered on the second floor of the Time and Life Building Wednesday for Time Inc.’s “Digital Showcase,” where Time Inc. EVP John Squires told the crowd that the division’s digital revenues were up $20 million year over year.

That growth is led mostly by Sports  Illustrated and CNN Money, he said, with digital revenue contributing about 15 and 20 percent to their respective bottom lines, reports Folio.
