The AP devotes an article today on the lies being told within the McCain campaign.
These include:
-McCain keeps saying his running mate, Sarah Palin, killed the federally funded Bridge to Nowhere when, when she she only pulled her support only after the project became a political embarrassment.
John McCain’s presidential campaign has been hitting Obama hard lately. Here are just a few of the most recent attacks:
-Accusations of sexism over Obama’s ”lipstick on a pig” comment.
-Comparison of Obama’s campaign to a pack of wolves on the prowl against the GOP vice presidential pick
-McCain camp claimed the Democratic nominee favored sex education for kindergartners, and resurrected the comments of the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.
According to a new poll from NBC and the Wall Street Journal, when asked who would improve America’s standing in the world, 44 percent said Barack Obama while only 33 percent said John McCain.
However, 55 percent believe that Barack Obama is the riskier pick for president while 33 percent said John McCain.

More than 100,000 people are expected to attend a speech by Barack Obama in Berlin today as he starts the European leg of his foreign tour, reports the Guardian UK.
The rally will follow talks on Afghanistan with the German chancellor Angela Merkel.
New York Times Co. president and CEO Janet Robinson said the paper will increase its newsstand price from $1.25 to $1.50 on Aug. 18, reports Jeff Bercovici at Portfolio.com
The Wall Street Journal recently announced it will go from $1.50 to $2.00 on the newsstand starting Monday.
Vogue has teamed up with IMG to create Project Runway, America’s Next Top Model, Make Me a Supermodel Model.Live in an effort to attract a younger audience and capture marketing dollars, reports the WSJ. The show will follow three models as they walk runways, go to casting calls and do other modely things like look good.
