Laurence Fishburne is in talks about succeeding William Petersen as the lead actor on ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’, states The Hollywood Reporter. His character would be an outsidery type doctor/scientist with the same genetic profile as a serial killer.

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen is the highest-paid comedy actor ($825,000 per episode), and CSI star William Peterson rakes in $600,000 an episode, although he’s leaving the show this season, reports TV Guide.
